AI Telephone

AI Telephone is a multiplayer game inspired by the classic game of telephone… but with AI in the loop! Players pass an idea through a chain of prompts and AI-generated images, alternating between writing prompts and selecting images generated from those prompts.

As the idea moves from person to machine to person again, it slowly transforms. At the end of the game, the entire sequence is revealed, showing how the original idea changed through each interpretation.

AI Telephone exposes how meaning mutates as it moves between humans and machines, making visible how fragile communication can be – and how the assumptions and defaults embedded in AI can amplify that fragility.
